Webcam... ideas required!

Help! We need of ideas of things we could show on our webcam as it would appear that showing people on it is out of the question. Problem is we are quite limited as there is not much cable on the camera. Ideas so far are:-

  • Floor Cam
  • TV Cam
  • Wall Cam
  • Server Cam
  • blurring the current image so that no one can make anything out!
  • BeerTower Cam
  • DiscoBall Cam*
*with possible associated project to be able to turn the ball on and off from the web!

Anyway, let us know what you want to see!

Well, given your frequent drama with kitchen appliances, may I suggest:

- Blender Cam
- Deep fat fryer Cam
- I dunno now...cooker Cam?
- Fence Cam? Well you never know...

DiscoBall Cam sucks.

Well yes, it does suck.

We are now working on a weekly idea. Where the featured object will change :)

I'll warn you now that DiscoBall Cam is still the best thing we can do.

BakedBeans Cam will be rather boring :(

Personally I like WallCam... much more interesting than FloorCam

Paranoia has set in... it would seem that DiscoBall Cam went out of action for a while...

With sophisticated graphics enhancement software, a supercomputer, and about 20 years, it is quite clearly possible to analyse a sequence of discoball images and by looking at the reflections of the ball at different angles, by applying vector mathematics, you can get an infinitely perfect picture of what's going on in the rest of the room, the house and the rest of the world. I kid ye not.
